He's a funny guy!!!! ;D Huntz could make you laugh without even trying! He was the joker of the group-- also kind of the dumb one. But it worked so well for him and pleased audiences--- right up to the Bowery Boys!!!!

Yes Huntz Hall was usually the dumb funny man but not always. When they became the Little Tough Guys in their first entry titled "Little Tough Guy" from 1938 it was the Dead End Kids without Leo Gorcey & some new kids added. This was a serious drama & Huntz Hall was quite intense in this film in his scenes with Billy Halop. In the beginning of the film Billy Halop is the new kid on the block & Huntz Hall was the tough leader of the block the other kids were subservient to.

That's right I forgot about that. I thought he was pretty good at the dramatic stuff too.

Yes! As much as I loved to see him always acting funny and goofy, it was equally pleasurable to see him serious.
